Our Summer 2020 Newsletter

Published: 12/09/2020

In the Summer 2020 edition of our newsletter, we reflected on our achievements and mini victories during the Covid-19 outbreak. But first, we want to say “thank you” to our Glasgow South staff for persevering and keeping our customers protected during the lockdown. We also want to thank our customers for their patience and understanding in these uncertain times.

In this Summer newsletter, we wanted to keep everyone in the loop, especially with shielding and social distancing some were facing, we did not want to miss this chance to sit down and write down our thoughts and messages for our readers.

The newsletter also highlighted some staff news. In Glasgow, we saw staff leaving for new pastures and new staff being employed to support the work. It is extremely fantastic that our carers are now getting the recognition they deserve, you really are the community’s heroes! Which I’m sure our customers and their families agree on.

Covid-19 had an impact on many industries on a national and global level, but we were able to come out of the lockdown without being scathed - why? Because not one of our customers or employees contracted the virus! We are over the moon that all our Bluebird family and friends were protected in these challenging times and this is the result of our Bluebird team pressing onwards and forwards, adapting to change and following precaution.

The pandemic also changed the way we do things in the business but we were still able to maintain high rewards and recognition in the care industry. It is the consistent hard work all our Bluebird Care staff put into their roles which resulted in such wonderful recognition. Such rewards also gives our customers and their families confidence that they have chosen the right care provider!
