Bluebird Care Edinburgh & Glasgow South scoop two awards at the recent Scottish Care Awards 2017

Bluebird Care Edinburgh & Glasgow South have won Care at Home Provider of the year and Bluebird Care Edinburgh's HR & Training Manager, Nina MacLean achieved the Training and Staff Development award.

Bluebird Care Edinburgh & Glasgow South have won Care at Home Provider of the year and Bluebird Care Edinburgh’s HR & Training Manager, Nina MacLean achieved the Training and Staff Development award.

The Scottish Care Awards recognise the work of both organisations and individual employees working in the care sector who have gone above and beyond. The awards are an opportunity to recognise the skills and dedication these individuals have, all to make life better for others. All finalists were invited to the annual awards ceremony that took place at the Marriott Hotel in Glasgow on Friday 12

Bluebird Care Edinburgh and Glasgow South were placed first in the Care at Home Provider of the Year, this award celebrates those providing excellent care in Scotland.

Director of Bluebird Care Edinburgh & Glasgow South Jane Perry, was thrilled with the result, commenting:
 

We are honoured to have won the Provider of the Year award. Recognition in the care sector for working at such high standards is humbling and hugely satisfying. This award is for all our hard-working staff who go that extra mile every day to make living and dying at home possible.

 

On top of this achievement, Bluebird Care Edinburgh’s HR & training manager Nina has been recognised as one of the leading home care employees in Scotland by winning the Training and Staff Development Award.

I come to work at Bluebird Care and do my job to the best of my ability and thoroughly enjoy it.  To have this recognised at this level is a huge personal and professional achievement.
