Initial introduction was very relaxed and went through what my needs were.
Left Humeral Head Fracture, arm was in a sling and had difficulty with general housework, hanging my clothes out.
The girls were very helpful and took time to get to know me and did a brilliant job. Nothing was too much trouble. On the last visit I requested to go food shopping, accompanied me, took my bags and back home.
I wish I had started them earlier instead of me trying to do things.

First of all thank you again for the great support to my mother when we were away, she is very happy with the quality of the service and the help and companionship she received. Whilst she was impressed with ALL the girls that came to see her, she has highlighted that Kelly was the stand out "super star" of the situation (using a football analogy "Lionel Messi top player in a Barcelona great Team") :-)
I'd like to take this chance to express my thanks to yourself as well as to all the staff at Bluebird for the help, care and assistance that you provided for both my Dad and, latterly, my Mum.
I know that it became very frustrating for your staff when trying to offer assistance to my Mum and I appreciate that they stuck with it. The whole situation is a terrible shame really, because if my Mum would have accepted these visits, and maybe even more of them, she might well have been able to continue living in her own home. Unfortunately that will not now be the case. My Mum will not be returning to her home, but instead we are working with Social Work and she will be moving into a care home shortly.
On the other hand, I know that my Dad very much appreciated the visits by your staff and he definitely would have wanted me to express a big thank you on his behalf.
Just thought I would drop a note to let you know how impressed I was with Ciara when I spent some time with her last week.
She has a great confident but soft manner in dealing with my mum and dad. She was able to keep both of them engaged in a really positive and cheery manner.
Ciara was also able to come up with different things to do each day she was there while keeping on top of the domestic tasks.
With her not having been to visit my parents for a while, I was amazed how quickly my mum and dad were able to warm to her and trust her.
Definitely a great asset to the team.
It is very reassuring that our aunt is receiving the best possible care from her Bluebird angels.
