Joyce Nicholson, Care Assistant at Bluebird Care Gateshead, has been nominated for the ‘Carer of the Year’ at this year’s National Bluebird Care Awards. The team member that put forward Joyce for the award, said: “Joyce has been a hardworking and dedicated member of the team for some time and her nomination is well deserved.” The Bluebird Care Awards are a celebration of all the exemplary commitment shown by the dedicated teams that work at Bluebird Care. This year’s panel of judges include: Doctor Hilary, Health Editor and ITV presenter; Colin Angel, Policy and Communications Director of UK Homecare Association (UKHCA) and Anna Bawden, Deputy Editor of the Society Guardian.
Director of Bluebird Care Gateshead, Katheryn Haswell, commented:
