Celebrating and recognising our Exeter Team!

Published: 26/02/2016

Here at Bluebird Care Exeter we know how important our colleagues are to the happiness and wellbeing of our customers but also to the success of our business!

Here at Bluebird Care Exeter we take time each quarter to recognise staff for their achievements and service milestones. We realise how lucky we are to retain such knowledgeable and highly skilled staff in such a competitive industry that traditionally has a high staff turnover rate.

The team at Bluebird Care invited Care Assistants and office staff who had passed their probation period or a service milestone to presentation afternoons on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd February 2016 to appreciate all the hard work the staff do.

Everyone enjoyed celebratory cakes and took advantage of the opportunity to socialise and celebrate such a positive thing with their colleagues.

All staff celebrating a long service achievement received gift vouchers, a bottle of bubbly and a certificate in recognition of their outstanding service.

Hazel Reed, Senior Supervisor has worked with Bluebird Care Exeter for 4 years and is one of our longest standing employees. Jackie Fyall, Registered Manager, Nomsa Ntuli, Live In Care Assistant and Charmaine Smith, Assistant Supervisor were all celebrating 2 years service. Caz Mackenzie-Clarke, Debra Staves, Care Assistants and Emily Miles, Recruitment and Retention Supervisor were all awarded certificates and bubbly for 1 years service with Bluebird Care Exeter.

Care Assistants Rachael Brealy, Jade Davis, Nicola Davis, Emma Durston, Lorna Frankpitt, Tracey Hardware, Rachel Hayes, Kirsty Spiers and Louise Toleman who were congratulated on passing their probationary period were delighted to receive flowers and a certificate marking the occasion.

The awards and certificates were presented by Jackie Fyall, Business Leader in Exeter.

Jackie said:

"I feel extremely proud of all the team who are celebrating today and would like to thank them for their passion, dedication and commitment to Bluebird Care Exeter. They all form an invaluable part of our team and without them Bluebird Care couldn’t offer the outstanding care and support we do to people living independently at home across Exeter.”
