Bluebird Care Exeter, North, East and West Devon have been raising funds to send urgent supplies to the southern city of Odesa, Ukraine.

Will and Sara Flint, Directors of Bluebird Care Exeter, North, East and West Devon, are working hard to purchase essential supplies for those on the front line in Ukraine's brutal war with Russia.

Will and Sara have spent time building a solid collaboration with contacts in Romania and Ukraine. Contact is direct with Denis, the Pharmaceutical supplier in Romania and local volunteer groups in Kharkiv and Odesa.

So far, with support, they have imported over £30,000 worth of critical medicine and first aid into Ukraine for both the military and civilian populations, including into occupied areas.

Additionally, they have helped fund:

  • A vehicle for a volunteer who delivers humanitarian aid at great risk to themselves
  • A dozen tactical ear defenders
  • 21 radios for frontline operations in Kharkiv
  • An electricity generator for a Ukrainian brigade in the south of Ukraine.
  • Three people to leave occupied Kherson. Those people are now en route to the UK.
  • A soup kitchen in Kharkiv that feeds 280 soldiers and 70 civilians per day.
  • Full kits for 60 soldiers

Will and Sara will continue to raise funds to support the work on the ground in Ukraine. The ongoing war means that an enormous number of people require help; we know that the news can be overwhelming but with your support, the fantastic work they have started can continue apace.

All monies raised go straight to the source. If you can help, please donate on their crowdfunding page: Just Giving
