Bluebird Care

Complimentary consultation in Elmbridge, Runnymede & Spelthorne

Complimentary home care consultation: Get a clear plan for mum or dad, not just a price.

In one 60–90 minute home visit, our Care Supervisor will assess your family member's needs, explain the risks, and give you a clear, professional care plan with transparent costs and realistic start dates: so you can stop worrying about "getting it wrong".

Who is this consultation for:

This visit is ideal if:

  • Anyone arranging private care for a family member, friend, or someone they love and support

  • The individual needing care lives within our local Bluebird Care territory

  • You’re looking for structured, regulated home care with continuity (not one-off odd jobs)

  • You’re comfortable with at least a one-month arrangement if you decide to go ahead

It’s probably not right if:

  • You live outside our service area

  • You only have local-authority funding and cannot top up privately

  • You want ad hoc, one-off visits with no structure

  • You’re unwilling to meet our minimum visit structure (30-minute visits, minimum one-month plan)

What you'll walk away with

Free Home Care Consultation

By the end of this process, you and your family will have:

  • A professional assessment from a Bluebird Care Supervisor

  • A clear explanation of risks and care needs in plain English

  • A tailored written care plan emailed within 2–3 days

  • Transparent pricing aligned to the support we recommend

  • Clear next steps and realistic start dates if you choose to go ahead

Most families tell us they go from guilt, fear and confusion to relief, clarity and confidence once they can finally see everything laid out clearly.

What actually happens during your home visit

Your visit is carried out by a Care Supervisor, not a salesperson. This is the same team that will set up and oversee your care if you decide to start with us.

During the 60–90 minute visit, we will:

  • Make a warm introduction and explain the purpose of the visit

  • Talk with the individual and those close to them about current concerns

  • Review medical history and existing diagnoses

  • Assess daily living needs (washing, dressing, medication, meals, mobility)

  • Discuss routines, preferences and personality

  • Look at the home environment and safety

  • Understand how involved you and others want to be, and how you prefer us to communicate

  • Outline a recommended care structure (visit length, frequency, times of day)

  • Explain how our pricing works and what affects the cost

  • Agree clear next steps and timelines

What does NOT happen:

  • No pressure to sign on the day

  • No “today only” deals or ultimatums

  • No rushed, tick-box assessment

  • No aggressive follow-up if you need time to decide

What you get with Bluebird Care

We're not selling "hours of care." We're providing structured, regulated, supervised care with continuity and accountability.

That includes:

  • A detailed in-home assessment by a Care Supervisor

  • A written care plan within 2–3 days, not scribbled notes

  • A service regulated by the Care Quality Commission, currently rated Good

  • Direct operational oversight from assessment through day-to-day care

  • Minimum visit lengths and commitments designed to protect continuity and quality

Choosing the right home care provider is one of the most important decisions a family can make. We'd encourage every family to ask a few key questions before choosing any care provider, which is why we created our Good Care Checklist, covering the questions that matter most so you can feel confident in your decision.
