Bluebird Care Edinburgh are having a Halloween Event

Published: 19/10/2016

On Friday 28th October Bluebird Care Edinburgh are hosting a Halloween event for both their team and all their customers.

Bluebird Care Edinburgh woud like you to join them on Friday 28th October for a fun filled night of activities including; dooking for apples, treacle scones, a raffle and much more!

Tickets are £3 with all proceeds being donated to the new Royal Hospital for Sick Children, it is hoped the funds raised will help to create a children’s playroom for babies and toddlers who are affected by cancer, in memory of local toddler Kai Laidlaw. The new unit will cost approx. £2m and will offer support to children with cancer & leukaemia.

Kai Laidlaw was diagnosed in Sept 2013 with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia when he was only 8 months old and after a brave battle passed away in January 2016, in the Edinburgh Sick Children's hospital surrounded by his family and friends.

The Halloween event in our Edinburgh office is to help raise funds through CCLASP (Children with Cancer & Leukaemia Advice & Support for parents) for a new purpose built  unit within the Royal Infirmary.

CCLASP helps children & teenagers suffering from cancer or leukaemia, providing advice & support for their parents as well as help with vital transport to appointments, organising annual fun outings i.e. Xmas party, cinema and help with holidays to Disneyland.

If you wish to join us and please contact Claudine or Nikki-Lee on 0131 258 5005 or speak to your carer when they visit, Claudine or Nikki-Lee will also be able to arrange transport for customers that require assistance.
