Bluebird Care Edinburgh is supporting Dementia Awareness Week 2016, an annual campaign run by Alzheimer Scotland from 30 May – 5 June 2016.

Alzheimer Scotland is the leading dementia organisation in Scotland. The organisation campaigns for the rights of people with dementia and their families as well as provides an extensive range of innovative and personalised support services.
Running from 30 May – 5 June 2016, the aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of dementia across Scotland and raise much needed funds for those living with and affected by dementia.

John Perry, director of Bluebird Care Edinburgh, said:

Dementia Awareness Week is an important opportunity for us to help promote understanding of dementia, raise awareness of Alzheimer Scotland and the vital support that they provide across Scotland. We hope that supporting this campaign will help to break down barriers, and help people in our local area who may be worried about dementia to come forward and seek support.”
