Many Congratulations to our senior care assistant Mandy who has recently completed her Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care!

Mandy came from a retail background with no previous care experience but from day one has always shown an interest in learning more about moving and handling and the process from assessment, partnership working with occupational therapists and so on.

Over the last few months Mandy has attended several multidisciplinary meetings on behalf of Bluebird Care Eastbourne & Wealden to assess our customers mobility with other health care professionals. We feel now the time is right for Mandy to grow into a role of Moving and Handling Trainer, she will be responsible for working alongside the management team in training new members of staff and offering hands on training with new equipment out in the field.

We are looking forward to getting Mandy booked on her trainers course and know she will do amazing. Well done!
