During June we celebrated and recognised our staff for their achievements and service milestones.
During June we took time out to celebrate, recognise and give thanks to our fab staff for their achievements and service milestones.We know how lucky we are to retain knowledgeable and highly skilled staff in such a competitive industry that traditionally has a high staff turnover rate.
We invited our Care Assistants and office staff who had passed their probation period or a service milestone to presentation afternoons.
Everyone enjoyed cakes and sandwiches and took advantage of the opportunity to socialise and celebrate such a positive thing with their colleagues.
All staff celebrating a long service achievement received gift vouchers or a bottle of bubbly and a certificate in recognition of their outstanding service. The Care Assistants who were congratulated on passing their probation periods were delighted to receive flowers and a certificate marking the occasion.
Our East Devon team were joined at the Tumbling Weir Hotel by Hugo Swire, MP for East Devon. Hugo was keen to learn about the home care industry and spent time to talking to our Care Assistants to find out more about their jobs and what they enjoy about working in care.

Amanda Vicary and Kim Clarke our two longest serving Care Assistants have worked with Bluebird Care East Devon since the beginning - 3 years ago! Maria Evans, Assistant Supervisor and Harriet Hobson, Team Leader were both celebrating 2 years service. Jasmine Broome, Registered Manager, Kirsty Warren, Care Coordinator, Rachael Mattocks, HR Administrator, along with Rebecca Daborn and Debbie Foxford, both Care Assistants were all awarded certificates and bubbly for 1 years service with Bluebird Care East Devon.
Care Assistants Tina Pike, Tina Rosier, Laura Hook, Gemma Hodge and Barbara Twamley who were congratulated on passing their probationary period were delighted to receive flowers and a certificate marking the occasion.

Anna Howard, Care Supervisor celebrated working with Bluebird Care Exeter for 3 years! Lydia Ward, Marketing Manager, Katie Dykes, Assistant Supervisor, Katie Griffiths, Care Assistant and Gemma Doidge, Live In Care Assistant were all awarded certificates and bubbly for 1 years service with Bluebird Care Exter
Care Assistants Scarlett Ames, Lorraine Jones, Ann-Marie Edwards, Helen Goff, Marion Bowers, Teri Pannell, Noemie Ransom, Lucy Douglas and Diane Phillips have all recently passed their probationary period with Bluebird Care Exeter and all received flowers and a certificate marking the occasion.
