Bluebird Care East Devon, an award winning homecare agency have recently announced the appointment of Sophia Rolfe into an exciting new role of Live-In Care Service Manager

Reporting into Bluebird Care East Devon's Director William Flint, Rolfe (pictured) will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the development and growth of the homecare agency’s Live-In Care Service.

Sophia joins Bluebird Care from Prestige Nursing where she was responsible for coordinating the rotas for both Community Carers and Health Care agency staff. She brings with her a determination and commitment to providing the highest level of personalised and quality Live-In Care.

The addition of Sophia to Bluebird Care’s team of Managers comes in response to developments in the health and social care market. With increasing pressure on hospital beds and the planned closures of some Community Hospital beds there is a need for a long term, realistic alternative to residential care.  Live-In Care works because it provides the individual a dedicated one-to-one service in the comfort and familiar surroundings of their own home.

William Flint, Director, comments: “Our objective is to provide people the opportunity to stay at home for longer with high levels of customer service. Sophia’s role is going to be instrumental in meeting with our Customers, discussing their needs, likes and dislikes and then matching these to our specially recruited and trained Live-In Care Assistants.
