Night Care at home is an essential part of our offering at Bluebird Care.

Bluebird Care is a national provider of home care services. We specialise in working with customers and their families who require social care in their own homes.

Bluebird Care recognises that people need appropriate care and attention throughout the day and night which is why they have developed specialised Night Teams to support clients during the night-time period.

A Bluebird Care Night Team is essential for clients who require assistance throughout the night as it provides them with the care and support they need to remain comfortable and safe.

Here are some of the ways night care can support you or a loved one:

  • Companionship - If you struggle to sleep, it may help you to have someone to chat with until you can sleep again.
  • Support for a condition - Our care assistants are trained to ensure they can support you with a variety of health conditions, working with your wider health and social care team. Our team can also support you with complex health needs.
  • Mobility Support - Our care assistants can assist you in and out of bed safely.
  • Personal Care - Our care assistants are on hand to assist you to the bathroom safely and support you with medication.
  • Reassurance - Our night care allows you to have the reassurance that there is someone on hand in case of an emergency.
  • Peace of Mind for Family - Night care also provides peace of mind to family and loved ones that your safe and being cared for, especially with palliative care or recently discharged from the hospital.

The Night Team Care Assistants are highly trained individuals who are passionate about their work and take great pride in the care that they provide. They are committed to delivering high-quality services and continuously strive to improve their skills through training and development.

We spoke to our NEW Devon Nights Team to ask them what they love most about their job:

I believe that people need to have the best possible experience of care when they need it & I like being able to support patients on a 1:1 basis throughout the night, providing the care that they want & need, whilst also offering support to their family or carers.

Lesley Rowland, Bluebird Care NEW Devon Night Team

It is such a rewarding job. I’d never done care before, and I was so worried I wouldn’t like it but I love it! You go home feeling a sense of pride knowing you’ve helped someone.

Holly Chapman, Bluebird Care NEW Devon Night Team

In conclusion, the Bluebird Care Night Team is an essential part of the care provider's service. With their commitment to delivering excellence in care the Night Team ensures that clients receive the support they require throughout the night.
