World Down Syndrome Day 21st March 2026!
Meet Lauren ✨ We have supported Lauren for 3 years and she is such an inspiration!
Lauren has an amazing range of hobbies — from attending drama classes each week, to DJ-ing at events, and acting with Acting Immediate Theatre, where she shines in plays and pantomimes 🎭🎶
She’s also stepped into the world of modelling, with some of her work featured in Vogue magazine — how incredible is that! 📸 Lauren has even appeared in a sketch inspired by Squid Game and has had her photos published in Portrait magazine.
Lauren truly has a zest for life and is a real ray of sunshine ☀️ Her parents are incredibly supportive and always encouraging her to follow her dreams. She also shares a very special bond with our carer Doriet — Lauren says she’s more like a friend and always goes above and beyond 💙
We are so proud and in awe of Lauren, and we can’t wait to see what she does next! 🌟

We love making our customers and carers feel special! Once a month, we pick a name out of a hat at random to present a customer with a small gift and put a smile on their face. We also continue our tradition of Carer of the Month, recognising those who go above and beyond! 💙✨

Welcome our new Brand Ambassador Si King!
We’re super excited to announce that Si King is our new Brand Ambassador! 🎉💙
You may recognise him for his cooking expertise, but Si is now joining our mission to set the standard for life-changing care and help more people remain comfortable in the place they know best: home.
Si is helping us launch the Good Care Guide, a free resource designed to help families understand what quality care really looks like. You can download it for free using the link below.
This partnership is incredibly close to Si’s heart. Having experienced first-hand what it’s like to support loved ones who need care, he understands just how overwhelming it can feel. With so many options out there, how is anyone supposed to recognise what good care really looks like?

Meet Liz and Hayley! 🐶✨
Hayley is a rescue dog, and Liz and her family have lovingly adjusted to help Hayley settle into her new home. She’s super inquisitive, loves a good nosey around, and is always ready for a cuddle. 🐾
Hayley brings Liz so much joy, and it’s wonderful to see more and more people choosing to rescue dogs and give them a second chance. 💙

International Day of Education
We celebrated the International Day of Education this month! Here are some pictures of our team taking part in training. We did our annual mandatory in house training, and also took part in a joint Oliver McGowan Disabilities training day with our colleagues from Waltham forest. Our team love learning new skills and putting them into practice! 📚✨

January's Carer of The Month
Timi was our Carer of the Month for January! She has shown incredible dedication, providing end-of-life care for her live-in customer his family were extremely grateful. 💙
Our new Customer of the Month Appreciation
We also wanted to show appreciation for our customers, so in January we launched Customer of the Month—and our first winner was David! Each month, we pick a customer’s name at random out of a hat and present them with a small gift to put a smile on their face. David loves a bit of apple pie and custard! 🍏🥧💙
