Care assistant rewarded for her commitment

Published: 28/10/2016

We recently surprised one of our care assistants, Lavinia King, to thank her for her outstanding service in the delivery of care.

Lavinia King (pictured) from Camelford was among the first to be employed by us at Bluebird Care Cornwall North in August 2011.

We recently surprised Lavinia with a bouquet of flowers and a gift token as thanks for her sterling service in the delivery of care over the past 5 years. We then took Lavinia out for lunch to the Port William Hotel, Trebarwith.

Lavinia comments

“The most satisfying aspect of being a care assistant is being able to make a difference in people's lives.”

Lavinia King, Cornwall NorthSince starting in 2011 Bluebird Care has carried out 126,000 care visits in the North Cornwall area. The quality of care was rated as outstanding in our most recent CQC Report, which can be viewed here.
