Bluebird Care Cornwall North customer VIP guest at special Battle of Britain commemoration ceremony

One of our customers, Mr Ian Wyness, a retired RAF Gunner, attended a ceremony at Truro Cathedral to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. He was accompanied by his Bluebird Care Cornwall North care assistant Wendy Chriss.

Mr Ian Wyness was invited as a VIP guest to attend a ceremony at Truro Cathedral to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. 

Mr Wyness was able to attend the ceremony as he was being accompanied by Bluebird Care Cornwall North care assistant Wendy Chriss.

The celebration included a dedication service for ex War Veterans, followed by a reception at the Officers Mess at RAF St Mawgan.

It was a wonderful day, which Mr Wyness and Wendy both enjoyed very much. Wendy felt honoured to have accompanied Ian and to have been included in this memorable occasion.
