Held on the first Sunday of October through the Sir Simon Milton Foundation, Silver Sunday is a celebration of older people and their contribution to communities. Through a variety of free activities, nationwide, Silver Sunday offers people over 65 a chance to keep active in body and spirit, try new things, meet their neighbours and, ultimately, overcome loneliness.
On Sunday 6th October 2013, Bluebird Care Coleraine held a ‘come and try’ Irish Dance session at Flowerfield Arts Centre, Portstewart. It was well attended by Customers their families and friends.
