This Time to Talk Day, meet Nicola — our full-time Mental Health Nurse. Her message on the whiteboard says it all:
“The pain you’re feeling now is temporary. Let others support you if you feel comfortable, and — most important — be kind to yourself.”

Nicola runs one-to-one sessions, carries out mental-health assessments, supports care planning, and offers practical strategies to help the people we look after feel more supported day to day.
Nicola also provides ongoing guidance and training for our staff, helping carers spot early signs of distress and giving them simple, compassionate ways to start conversations.
