Thank you to Mark Bargeant & Peter Holmes, who joined us yesterday to go on the Virtual Dementia Tour and attend one of our Dementia Friends session.
Thank you to Mark Bargeant (Advanced Mental Health Clinical Practitioner) and Peter Holmes, Director of Prime Appointments Limited who joined us yesterday to go on the Virtual Dementia Tour and attend one of our Dementia Friends session.
Peter wanted to share that he felt 'the dementia experience was extremely worthwhile' and would recommend anyone who has the opportunity to go on it.
Peter's company, Prime Appointments, have chosen the Alzheimer's Society as a fundraising partner this year and Bluebird Care is also fundraising for the Alzheimer's Society. We are hoping to run a Dementia Friends session with Peter's team so that they can increase their understanding of the cause they are fundraising for. They have raised over £250,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society to date. What an incredible achievement!!
