Colchester Food Bank - Christmas Parcels

We would like your help in supporting Colchester Food Bank this Christmas as they start their Christmas Parcels campaign!

We will be having a collection box at both our offices to collect any donations. We hope to help Colchester Food Bank meet their aim of providing 500 festive parcels for local individuals and families in crisis over the festive season.

We have a full list of items below that they recommend – but any donations will be gratefully received.

• Tinned ham or corned beef
• Tinned salmon
• Box of sweet biscuits
• Savoury biscuits
• Shortbread
• Mince pies
• Box of chocolates
• Children's selection box/ Advent calendar
• Readymade custard/ puddings
• Small fancy cakes/ Yule logs
• Snacks, crisps or nibbles
• Chocolate spread
• Instant hot chocolate

Unfortunately, they cannot take any homemade items, jams, pickles or any items that contain alcohol. All foods must also be in date and have at least a two month best before date.
