Christmas Shoe Boxes

Hannah, our Recruitment Manager, travelled to Romania. She met with the pastor of the gypsie village of just over 3,100 people. His story of how he planted the seed of a church, risked his life to change lives and have a positive impact on the community is a true inspiration. He reached out to the most deprived, and poverty stricken villages: offering food, community and a safe place to those in need. His kindness has grown and created a wonderful church, and he has become the pillar strength in their community. Last year he even built an orphanage and created a education system to help support children have a better future. All of this started with a simple invitation to a live music event 12 years ago.

It just goes to show how one single act of kindness can snowball into something wonderful. This small act of kindness and partnership with UK churches and charities has allowed people like our Recruitment Manager to volunteer to spend time with the families and children of the village, spreading some Christmas cheer and giving out Christmas Shoe boxes.
