Spoilt For Choice As Bluebird Care Clapham & Streatham Demonstrate Their Cooking Skills

The team at Bluebird Care Clapham & Streatham hosted their very first Potluck Lunch for their care staff and their colleagues at Bluebird Care Wandsworth.

To celebrate the diversity of our team, we asked staff to bring in a staple dish from their country of origin, prepared at home. As a result, we enjoyed a spectacular display of colourful, aromatic and interesting dishes from all around the world!  With over 40 dishes to choose from and spanning 9 different countries, there was something for everyone and nobody left hungry.

At Bluebird Care, we really do believe in taking care and go the extra mile for our staff. Let’s face it, we want our staff to be happy so that they take that happiness out with them when they visit our customers - whether that's you or a family member.  We also want our care staff to feel important, united and to have that sense of community that is the hallmark of a great place to work.

This was a fabulous way of bringing our staff from both offices, giving them a chance to get to know each other and to bond.

A Care Assistant's job can be a pretty lonely one.  Here a Bluebird Care we ensure we keep regular contact with all our Care Assistants as they go about their visits through our pastoral support system, but we recognise that it's good to get together with other people doing the same thing, to chat and share experiences.  It's also a great way for us to show our staff how much they mean to us.
