Bluebird Care is delighted to announce that actress Natalie Cassidy has joined us as our new brand ambassador!
Best known for her much-loved role as Sonia Fowler in BCC’s Eastenders, Natalie brings something particularly special to this partnership; a personal understanding of the importance of good care and the difference it can make to families.
A personal connection to care
Natalie’s connection to the care sector comes from her own family experience. Towards the end of his life, she cared for her father at home following his dementia diagnosis, while balancing her acting career and raising her two young children.
Through this experience, Natalie understands that caring for someone you love can bring both emotional and practical challenges. She also recognises just how important compassionate, dependable support can be for individuals and their families.
Her experience inspired her to explore the care sector further, enrolling on a Level 3 course in health and social care.
She also shared her journey through her BBC documentary series, Natalie Cassidy: Caring Together, where she trained as a carer in different settings, from children’s services to palliative care.
A partnership built around the importance of care
Natalie’s values and experiences make her a wonderful fit for Bluebird Care.

Looking ahead
Over the coming months, Natalie will be working with Bluebird Care nationally to showcase the opportunities available through the Bluebird Care Academy, including training, learning and development for care professionals.
