Irene bites the bullet and retires from her role as Care Coordinator for us here at Bluebird Care Cheshire West and Flintshire. She will be missed!
Irene joined our team back in June 2015, she joined us after many years working in the care sector and came with a wealth of knowledge. As the Care Coordinator she was responsible for all the rotas, ensuring the customers had excellent continuity of care and the carers were all busy. Not only did Irene bring a great work ethic to the role she was also a great support and fellow member of the office team.
Irene was keen to have a few words before she left:
"The time has come for me to say goodbye to my work family; all my friends and colleagues, who I have worked with over the past seven years whilst being at Bluebird Care Cheshire West & Flintshire and to Simon and Rebecca for putting up with me. After 30 years in care, I have decided to retire. I have loved working for this company, and we are a real family who support each other throughout the trials that are part of the normal working day. They are the best company by far that I have worked for, and I will miss everybody there. I will also miss all the customers and their families, who I have worked with over the years. Anyone starting with Bluebird Care Cheshire West and Flintshire will have an amazing experience working for them. I cannot recommend them enough. Thanks for the memories."
Simon the Director said in response:
"Irene has been a big part of our Bluebird Care family for the last seven years and we have very much appreciated her years of caring experience in helping us achieve the accolades of a CQC rating of Outstanding and Top 20 Homecare awards consecutively since 2019. Her calm and collected nature, hard work and sense of humour will be missed greatly and she will always be welcome to drop in for a coffee and we can’t wait to hear about her adventures in the campervan as she starts a new chapter in her life."
Irene will be missed but we wish her well in her retirement!
