Supporting "Save The Children" - Christmas Jumper Day

Staff embrace Save the Children's campaign to "make the world better with a sweater!"

Friday December 14th saw us all sporting our most colourful festive knitwear on “Christmas Jumper Day”!

Each year, the charity Save the Children invites organisations up and down the country to dress up and dig deep for donations to continue their amazing work. Here at Bluebird Care Cheshire East we are delighted to participate. Well, any excuse to have our Care Manager Jayne dressed as an elf and Supervisor Sam dressed as Mrs Claus!

There were games and raffles, mince pies and Jayne’s magic touch making fancy coffees for everyone. A great time was had by all and some serious fund raising accomplished, not just from our staff but also from other generous businesses in our offices.

As Save the Children’s campaign says; “Make the world better with a sweater”! We certainly did our bit today and will be dusting the jumpers off again next year!
