Our Annual Care Awards

Celebrating the amazing work our care assistants do all year with a celebratory lunch and awards!

Every year we celebrate the fantastic work of our staff by nominating individuals in a series of award categories. This year it was so hard to choose the recipients among so many stand-out performances! We contacted customers directly for comments on how they found their care assistants and received these wonderful responses;

“Richard is ever so pleasant and always so nice”
“Ella is very calm, nothing fazes her”
“It is such a pleasure to see Marie, we have great conversation”
“Helen is wonderful, she goes over and above”
“Diane is genuine and brightens up the room when she walks in”
“Carolyn is very efficient and excellent at her job”
“Ken is very good and I really enjoy seeing him”
“Sue makes my life worth living”

At a special gathering on November 23rd with a celebratory lunch, we awarded in 9 separate categories. Pictured is Care Assistant Richard Jarvis being awarded by Deputy Care Manager Jaqlyn Mellor with the Person Centred Care award. Jayne Wakefield, Care Manager commented;
 “ Richard only joined us in June this year and has made quite an impression on customers and colleagues alike in a short time.”

Newcomers Carolyn Cook and Zoe Gurbutt each received an award for outstanding contributions in their brief time with us and Denise Hall scooped the Commitment to Care award.
Also celebrated on the day was Care Assistant Marie Jenkins’ long service recognition at 10 years with the company. Manager of the Year went to Deputy CM Jaqlyn Mellor and Ken Moors was the deserved winner of Care Assistant of the Year. Well done team! You’ve much to be proud of!
