In keeping with our tradition of the past 10 years we once again hosted our annual Care Assistant Awards, December 8th at the Duke of Gloucester restaurant in Crewe.

In keeping with our tradition of the past 10 years we once again hosted our annual Care Assistant Awards, December 8th at the Duke of Gloucester restaurant in Crewe.

Tied in with Christmas celebrations, this is when we like to recognise the outstanding contribution our wonderful team make throughout the year, highlighting those special individuals who have really shone in their work!

The awards this year, presented by the management team were awarded to the care assistants pictured below (left to right);

  • Antonina Cistova – for person centred care in live-in services
  • Helen Woodcock – care assistant of the year
  • Denise Hall – Spirit of Bluebird Care award
  • Jackie Gittins – for dedication to care
  • Marie Jenkins – for dedication to care (seated)
  • Lynn Blakeborough – for person-centred care in live-in services (seated)

Also awarded were Mike Britton for dignity in care and Ken Moors for putting people first in care.

Our star award recipient Helen Woodcock proudly received her Care Assistant of the Year trophy and deservedly so.

I am immensely proud of the recipients and everything they have achieved. Their dedication and commitment is second to none. It is a pleasure to recognise such outstanding professionals and rightly reward them for their services.
