Andrea Continues to raise funds for Cholangiocarcinoma Charity

Back in November we reported on Andrea Sheardown's story, who we have worked with for many years in advertising our services in her publications across the community. Take a look at what she has been up to since.

We have worked with local business ‘The Effective Directories’ for the past 9 years, advertising our services to the community via Andrea Sheardown’s publications.

Back in November we reported on Andrea's story including her diagnosis and the fundraising activities she was about to take part in. With such determination Andrea wanted to do all she could to raise much needed funds and awareness for the AMMF Cholangiocarcinoma Cancer charity by climbing mount Snowdon.

Commenting on her challenge recently, Andrea said:
 

I have raised £6,319 so far, I climbed Snowdown as you know in November and then did Scafell Pike on the 29th December and am doing Ben Nevis on the 25th of this month! I initially wanted to rise £5k but would love to see if I can get nearer to 10K".

Very well done to Andrea – not easy whilst battling with the disease herself!
