The Bluebirds

Every business is only as good as it's people, and for us, Bluebird Care Carlisle's team of incredibly committed, professional carers are the most important people in it.

After all, it is they who provide the care to you or your loved ones 365 days of the year, come rain, hail or shine.

Our Bluebirds change lives for the better, by making a positive difference each and every day.

This is no more evident than during the ongoing Covid pandemic, where they have worked tirelessly since before, during and after lockdown, going way beyond their normal duties, and for that, they have our eternal thanks and gratitude.

Our care assistant team access ongoing training and development to ensure that they are competent in the skills required to carry out their duties as carers.

Becky Scott
Lead Care Co-ordinator

Becky joined the Bluebird Carlisle branch in 2017 as a coordinator, and now is Lead Coordinator. She has previous experience working in the same role for another local company. She decided to join us so she could further her career and help us grow the business. Becky enjoys building new relationships with other healthcare professionals and meeting the service users and their families.  Becky has her NVQ level 3 in Adult Care, and is currently working towards her level 5 in Leadership and Management for Adult Care.

One of the things she loves most about her job, is providing end of life care to people who have a wish to be at home for their final days. There is great satisfaction in being able to give someone their final wish at this stage, and the gratitude from their loved ones makes it all worthwhile.

Becky loves travelling, whether it be to a warm climate, or a weekend of camping in the lakes with friends and family. Becky enjoys playing darts on a Sunday night mixed league, and a Tuesday night ladies league.

If you ever find Becky in a bar, her drink of choice is a Cointreau and lemonade 😉

Emma Miller

Emma has 8 years care experience. She started her caring career as a care assistant and did this for 2 years before moving on to being a senior carer in a care home.
