Early last month independent firm WorkBuzz conducted a survey of our care staff to measure how Bluebird Care Cardiff North were coping in the current circumstances.
Early last month independent firm WorkBuzz conducted a survey of our care staff to measure how Bluebird Care Cardiff North were coping in the current circumstances, from their perspective.
- 90% strongly agreed that they have been kept informed throughout
- 92% strongly agreed that communication within the team has been effective
- 100% strongly agreed that they had the right tools to do the job
Through an app on their mobile devices care staff we able to respond to the survey without having to make any unnecessary journeys or interrupt the excellent service being delivered to our customers during this time.
Despite dispersing the office based team to work from home our Operations Manager Chris kept the office open so that field based care staff could collect PPE upon request and at pre agreed times and manage stock levels.
Chris commented: “The text messaging facility in our rota software meant that we could keep in touch with care staff collectively or individually and helped us stay in touch and manage this very important process accurately. Keeping care staff safe meant keeping customers’ safe as well so as ensuring confidence all around.”
Care Manager Jen added: “We are very proud of our staff, they are true superheroes and we could not do our jobs without them. Thank you Bluebirds.
A long term member of the care staff team also added we are confident that our company will continue to take the right steps to see us through this outbreak.
