Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead supports World Health Day – 7th April 2021.

Local homecare provider Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead is supporting World Health Day 2021. This year, it highlights health care inequality around the world.

There are many communities who struggle to make ends meet and health care is extremely challenging in their circumstances. Many people face poor living conditions, lack of education, insufficient clean water, food insecurity and inadequate health care. All of which can cause poor health and sickness.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) states that COVID-19 has affected those the most who lack quality health care services and are more vulnerable to the disease. The WHO is appealing to world leaders to go beyond their borders, to work together and tackle inequalities, ensuring that everyone has good living and working conditions to promote healthier lives. It is important for everyone to be able to access health care when they need it.

George Morris, Director of Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead, commented:

“The theme of this year’s World Heath Day is to build a fairer, healthier world. We all need to work together to help others and ensure that everyone can live healthy lives.

Here at Bluebird Care, our staff work hard to make sure our clients eat nutritional meals and are properly hydrated. The health and well-being of our clients is the utmost importance in our caregiving.”
