People living in Camden and Hampstead are being given the chance to find out about what care services and local job opportunities are available at a special recruitment event in March.

Organised by award-winning home care provider, Bluebird Care (Campden and Hampstead) the event offers people seeking new employment, and organisations working to place people in work, the opportunity to meet current care staff and collect information about working for the care sector, and the benefits provided.

With their office in Camden, Bluebird Care already employs many staff who provide care and support to a range of people in Camden, Kentish Town, Holburn, Covent Garden, Kings Cross, St Pancreas, Highgate, Kilburn and West Hampstead.

George Morris, Director Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead said,

“Bluebird Care has a positive reputation across the country for providing excellent customer services and quality personal home care which ensures that the people we work with feel empowered about the services they receive.

We support customers who suffer from dementia, physical and learning disabilities, and work alongside their families, Social Services, GPs and Clinical Commissioning Groups to ensure each person receives the care they need.

We are looking to expand our team of dedicated carers and are keen to meet people who are considering care as their career of choice.”

Bluebird Care offers a unique service of tailored care visits which range from anything from short care visits, to full live-in support. As well as personal care they also help with meal preparation, welfare checks, shopping, social trips, visits to the hospital, and they also provide extra support for post-discharge customers.

Karen Rides, Care Manager, added:

“Employing committed and passionate care staff has been a huge part of our success. We will only ever be as good as the staff we employ, and our staff are excellent! They are always professional and have real empathy for the people they look after.

Karen added: “We’re now taking our recruitment opportunities out into the community and are keen to talk to charities and services which support people to find or return to work. Come along to our recruitment event and meet some of our wonderful carers. There will be an opportunity to ask questions about the positions we need to fill and the many benefits that Bluebird Care can offer anyone considering care as their career of choice”.

This event will take place at St Pancras and Somers Town Living Centre, 2 Ossulston St, Kings Cross, London NW1 1DF between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.

Bluebird Care Camden and Hampstead offers a realistic alternative to residential care by allowing people to stay in their own homes with care and support. The care assistants’ work can involve one or more short visits a day in order to help with the everyday tasks of life. However, the service doesn’t stop there because longer duration visits are also available, including overnight help and live-in care, providing our customers with help at home for life.
