West Yorkshire Trading Standards has seen an increase in the number of COVID-19 related scams.
There are a lot of scams at the moment; with people taking advantage of the current coronavirus situation; such as doorstep callers with clipboards, claiming to be from Age UK, offering to carry out shopping for elderly residents and asking for card details upfront or people offering to ‘disinfect’ gardens for older people and much more.
