We are very thrilled and proud to have 7 Finalists from Bluebird Care Bromsgrove & Redditch for this year's Great West Midlands Care Awards.

Jean Seager (Dignity in Care award)

Jean takes her role very seriously and enjoys the caring role, especially with those who have dementia. She shares her knowledge and experience with others, ensuring continuity of valuable care. She feels an Individuals privacy and dignity is very important, along with supporting their independence at all times.



Helen Haddon (Dementia Care award)

Interest in dementia started for Helen not long after joining us in 2013, becoming a Dementia specialist and after gaining L3 in education and teaching, she took on the role of Dementia trainer. She spends hours of her own time researching and developing a very strong bond with staff and customers.



Karen Williams (Front Line leader award)

Karen is our main risk assessor who visits most of our customers prior to any care commencing. As well as carrying out the assessments, she arranges a person centred care plan that suits the individual’s requirements. She is a medication trainer having a wealth of knowledge and is fondly known as our own BNF!!



Sandra Madden (End of life Care award)

Since joining Sandra has excelled in all aspects of care especially end of life. She will help out at the last minute if needed, being very important when taking on end of life care packages. She often drives back past customer’s homes at night to check that all is well.




Samantha Ward (Care Co-ordinator award)

As a very outgoing, bubbly person, Sam gets on well with customers and carers alike. She ensures total customer/carer compatibility and takes her role very seriously. Sam will also without question go out and deliver care when necessary. She very much devoted to her role at Bluebird Care and strives to go above and beyond her role.



Michelle Done (Home Care Manager)

Michelle started with Bluebird Care as a young carer. Over a period of time, due to outstanding commitment and desire to help others she has progressed through the company, in various roles, gaining the experience and knowledge to become a valued, understanding and knowledgeable Care Manager.



John & Diane (Care Employer Award)

Having first-hand experience in delivering care to loved ones they want the best for all their customers and carers alike and go above and beyond for all concerned. They are both supportive, provide strong leadership and the team wouldn’t be anything without them, nothing is too much trouble. Their goal – delivering high quality care and support!
