Step 1: Getting in Touch
Your care journey begins with a simple conversation. When you contact Bluebird Care Bromsgrove & Redditch, you will speak to our friendly and experienced team who will take the time to understand your situation and answer any questions you may have. Many members of our team began their careers providing care in people’s homes, so they truly understand the challenges families can face when considering care for a loved one. This initial discussion helps us learn more about your circumstances and how we may be able to support you.

Step 2: Your Care Consultation
The next step is a care consultation, usually carried out in the comfort of your own home. This meeting is led by our Lead Care Supervisor, Katy, or our Registered Care Manager, Sam, who will spend time talking with you and your family about what is important to you. During this conversation we will discuss: The type of support you may need, Your daily routines and preferences, Any health or mobility considerations, What you would like to achieve from your care. This consultation allows us to build a clear understanding of your needs so we can create a care plan tailored specifically to you.

Step 3: Creating Your Personalised Care Plan
Following the consultation, we will design a bespoke care plan that reflects your lifestyle, preferences and level of support required. Your care plan will outline: How many visits you may need each week, The times your care team will visit, The type of support provided during each visit. Our goal is always to deliver care that fits naturally into your life, helping you remain comfortable and independent at home.

Step 4: Meeting Your Care Expert
Before your care visits begin, we arrange a Meet and Greet so you can get to know the care professional who will be supporting you. During your first visit, either Sam or Katy will attend alongside your allocated Care Expert to introduce them and ensure everything begins smoothly. This approach helps build familiarity and trust from the very start of your care journey.

Step 5: Consistent and Reliable Care
We understand how important it is to see familiar faces. Our Care Coordinator, Jo, carefully schedules care visits to ensure you are supported by the same friendly Care Experts each week wherever possible. You will receive a weekly schedule so you always know who will be visiting and when. Families are also kept informed so everyone involved feels confident and reassured about the care being delivered.

Step 6: Ongoing Reviews and Support
Care needs can change over time, which is why we regularly review your care plan. Our team will check in with you and your family to ensure the care you are receiving continues to meet your needs. If circumstances change, your care plan can be adjusted accordingly. And you don’t have to wait for a scheduled review. If you ever feel your care needs have changed, our team is always available to help. Our goal is to ensure you continue receiving the right level of support at every stage of your care journey.
