Ben Davie Takes on the Hackney Half Marathon for Alzheimer’s Society

Running for a Cause Close to Our Hearts

On Sunday 17 May, Ben Davie, Managing Director at Bluebird Care, will be taking on the Hackney Half Marathon to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.

Over the last month, Ben has been training hard for the challenge, regularly running between 10km and 18km at 6am before the school run. It hasn’t been easy, but it shows his dedication to a cause that means a great deal to so many people across the Bluebird Care network.

Having completed a half marathon before, Ben is now looking forward to taking on Sunday’s event and raising as much money as possible for Alzheimer’s Society.

At Bluebird Care, we see every day how dementia affects people and the families around them. That’s why Alzheimer’s Society continues to be a charity close to our hearts.

Alzheimer’s Society supports people living with dementia today, while also helping fund research and improve support for the future. Their work helps thousands of families feel less alone during difficult times.

This year, Alzheimer’s Society is once again Bluebird Care’s chosen charity, and together we’re aiming to raise another £50,000 by our conference in October.

Ben is proudly taking on this challenge as part of that fundraising effort, and we’ll all be cheering him on every step of the way.

I’m proud to be running for a charity that means so much to so many people across the Bluebird Care network. Every day, we see the impact dementia has on families, and the incredible difference the right support can make. I’m grateful for any support people are able to give.
