Bluebird Care Bristol Highly Commended At Southwest Great British Care Awards

Home care provider Bluebird Care Bristol has been Highly Commended at the Southwest Great British Care Awards for their team’s remarkable efforts.
The Great British Care Awards are a selection of regional events hosted throughout the UK that celebrates excellence in the care sector. With 21 categories available, they highlight the incredible efforts of individuals and businesses in a wide range of health and social care fields.
On this occasion, the CQC rated ‘Outstanding’ home care provider was ‘Highly Commended’ for the prestigious ‘Care Employer of the Year Award’ at the awards ceremony and took place on 5th November at the Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol.
The award pays homage to employers’ who not only deliver a high standard of care, but it also promotes a positive employee work culture that centres around collective improvement and growth.
Despite the challenges facing many within the care sector this past year, the team at Bluebird Care Bristol has continued to drive forward and improve.
On the night, the judges recognised the caring culture clearly present at Bluebird Care Bristol. The panel underlined a dedication to the wellbeing of their staff, highlighting not only their team-building events and fun initiatives but also their focus on mental wellbeing.
As well as this, the judges also noted the efforts of Claire Nolan and Louise Taylor. The Registered Managers' have played a big role in their upskilling of the team with their dedication, support and encouragement to the teams continuing professional development and enrol and complete apprenticeships. Not only have their efforts positively impacted each and every member of the team, but their approach as an employer has catalysed the consistent delivery of high-quality care to customers.
Speaking on the award night, Claire Nolan & Louise Taylor, said:
