Mental Health Awareness Week 2022.

Published: 12/05/2022

This years Mental Health Awareness Week topic is Loneliness.

This year the mental health topic is Loneliness. 1 in 4 adults feel lonely either sometimes or all the time. There is no one single cause nor is there one single solution. Everyone is different however the longer we feel lonely the more we are at risk or mental health problems.

If your suffering from loneliness, we offer companionship here at Bluebird Care Colchester and Tendring. This could be a cup of tea with a chat, a helping hand with your crossword or a dance around your living room.

Companion care is one of our most requested services. When one of our care assistants provides companionship care, they become a trusted companion who can keep you or your loved one socially engaged in their own home.

Dealing with loneliness can be difficult however there are things we can do to help us cope.

To learn more about companion care – please see the link below where we explain the support we offer in more detail.
