In this episode of The Family Carer Podcast we’re joined by Dr Beverley Lee, a consultant in palliative care at Forest Holme Hospice in Poole. 

Melanie and Beverley discuss the role of the hospice and how that evolves as a person's care needs change, the steps that families should take to prepare for emergencies, the holistic therapies and the expert services that are available through the hospice. 

Forest Holmes' vision is that every adult in our community affected by a potentially life-limiting illness has equal access to the support and services they need, whenever and wherever they are, in order to enhance their quality of life through clinical excellence, exceptional service and compassionate care.
