Back in July, we had the opportunity to celebrate some of the amazing people who make such a difference to our customers, their families and their colleagues every day.
We did this by holding our very own Bluebird Care Awards! To recognise the kindness, dedication, teamwork and commitment shown by our team across Bluebird Care Bournemouth & Poole.
Congratulations to our 2026 winners!
Act of Kindness: Reem Bolbol
The Act of Kindness Award recognises someone who shows warmth, compassion and genuine care, helping customers and colleagues feel safe, reassured and valued.
This year’s award went to Reem Bolbol, who was praised for her patience, empathy and calm approach to care.
“Customers feel happy to have Reem attending to their care. She has patience and empathy and shows these qualities in her work.”
Reem was also recognised for the genuine warmth she brings to her role and the positive relationships she builds with customers.
Team Player: Hellen Chada
Being a great team player is about being there for others, and Hellen Chada was recognised for exactly that.
Hellen is always willing to offer extra support when needed and has quickly become a valued member of the team.
“She always goes above and beyond and she is one of the first ones to offer extra support when needed.”
Customers have also praised Hellen for her caring nature and the way she always gives her best.
Brilliance: Clare Foley
The Brilliance Award celebrates someone who consistently delivers outstanding quality and shows professionalism, reliability and attention to detail.
Clare Foley was recognised for her willingness to help both colleagues and customers, as well as her eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
“She is not afraid to ask for help or guidance to grow her knowledge and skills, and is a very approachable team member for others to ask for help.”
Clare is always ready to step in when needed and has become a fantastic addition to the office team.
Care Expert of the Year: Ella Barnes
The Care Expert of the Year Award recognises someone who stands out for the exceptional care they provide and the relationships they build with customers and families.
This year’s winner, Ella Barnes, has grown significantly in confidence over the past year and developed strong, trusting relationships with the people she supports.
“Ella helps to ensure that customers feel comfortable, valued, and well supported.”
Her dedication and willingness to raise concerns and find solutions have also made her a real asset to the Bluebird Care team.
Office Member of the Year: Sarah Poole
Our office team provides so much important support behind the scenes, helping our services run smoothly and supporting our customers, families and care team.
Sarah Poole was recognised for her organisation, communication, attention to detail and dedication to providing excellent support.
“Sarah always goes the extra mile for clients and making sure full details are given to carers when needed.”
She is also described as approachable and always willing to support colleagues and customers, taking even the smallest concerns seriously.
Highly Commended Award: Krisztina Fegyveres
Our special Highly Commended Award recognises someone who has made a positive impact across different areas of their role and received nominations in multiple categories.
This year, the award went to Krisztina Fegyveres, recognising her dedication, teamwork and commitment to both customers and colleagues.
It is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the positive difference Krisztina makes as part of our team.

While these awards give us the opportunity to celebrate individual achievements, great care is always a team effort.
