Congrats to our Staff ...

With our Staff Career Pathway firmly in place Brenda Cross and Shabila Hussain completed their training to become Dementia Friend.
They can now help people live well in our communities with Dementia.

A Dementia Friend learns a little bit more about what it's like to live with dementia and then turns that understanding into action - anyone of any age can be a Dementia Friend. Whether you attend a face-to-face Dementia Friends Information Session or watch our online video, Dementia Friends is about learning more about dementia and the small ways you can help. From telling friends about Dementia Friends to visiting someone you know living with dementia, every action counts.





Can we congratulate Brenda Cross as she has now completed the Parkinsons training and has increased knowledge and understanding Parkinsons. She now understands the needs of people living with Parkinson's and their families.

We are sending out the strong message to support people with Parkinson’s and are urging people around the country to support the campaign that will encourage the public to be nicer to everyone, and that even small acts of kindness and understanding can be extremely helpful to people with Parkinson’s.

There is currently no cure for Parkinson’s and one person in every 500 has Parkinson’s in the UK. Bluebird Care Birmingham East is determined to raise awareness to help people with Parkinson’s and people who care for someone with Parkinson’s.


 

Congratulations to Shafeen Akhtar on the completion of her Care Certificate which now certifies her as a Professional and Certified care assistant. We do understand that a lot of hard work goes into completing this demanding qualification.
