Bluebird Care welcomes Sumathi Manickam, our newest franchisee for Bluebird Care Birmingham East.
Sue’s background is in the NHS and for the past 9 years she has worked as a physio. Last year Sue decided she would like to do something for herself and start her own business. She already knew a franchise in homecare would make best use of her skills already learnt from working in the health care sector. Knowing she wanted to do something but not sure who with she attended the British Franchise Exhibition at the NEC Birmingham and visited a number of care franchises at the event.Sue liked Bluebird Care as she was impressed with the hard work of the network and the determination to provide the very best care possible. But before making the decision she also took the opportunity to take part in the Franchisee of a Day initiative from Bluebird Care, which really gave her an insight into what being a franchisee means.
Having then decided to open Bluebird Care Birmingham East, sue joined the most recent franchisee training at the Franchise support centre in Petersfield. Meaning she was able immerse herself in all things Bluebird Care.
Sue was also the lucky winner of our prize draw held during the recent British Franchise Exhibition at the NEC Birmingham. Visitors to our stand were invited to enter for the change to win a Fortnum & Mason Hamper.
