Care & Dementia Show 2016

On Tuesday 11th October Lyn-Marie, Emily and our dementia champion Lorraine went along to the Care & Dementia Show 2016 at the NEC in Birmingham. 

On Tuesday 11^th October Lyn-Marie, Emily and our dementia champion Lorraine went along to the Care & Dementia Show 2016 at the NEC in Birmingham. They had the opportunity to network with training providers and management from other care companies about best practises, new technologies and new advances within the care sector.

Some highlights from the day were;

• The panel on keeping people with dementia at home for longer
• The Apetito stand, where we sampled some of their fantastic home cooked food
• The Virtual Dementia Tour, where we received a shortened version of the training our staff have received.

The day was very interesting and from this we have developed some new ideas and procedures which will improve our services for customers and staff.
