Bluebird Care Bedford host information sessions for Parkinson’s Awareness Week 2016

We invited Karen Coupland, a Nurse Specialist from the Parkinson’s Disease Service within the Bedfordshire Health Services, to come and talk to our staff about Parkinson’s disease.

To help support Parkinson’s Awareness Week, held last week, we invited Karen Coupland, a Nurse Specialist from the Parkinson’s Disease Service within the Bedfordshire Health Services, to come and talk to our staff about Parkinson’s disease.

Karen went into detail about the symptoms of Parkinson’s and how our staff can assist those living with the disease. After the session, our care assistants commented about how informative and interesting they found the talk.
