Bluebird Care (Bedford) is celebrating a career in home care with their #MakeADifference campaign

Bluebird Care Bedford is celebrating their fantastic team of care assistants, and the difference they make across the Bedford, Kempston and North Bedfordshire community every day, as part of a national campaign, which launched on Tuesday 8th May.

The #MakeADifference campaign, headed up by Bluebird Care’s franchise support centre, aims to highlight and raise awareness of care at home as a profession, which enables vulnerable people to receive the care and support they require in the comfort of their own homes. The purpose of the campaign is so we can showcase why the Bluebird Care (Bedford) team of care assistants are #ProudtoCareAtHome.

With the rapidly increasing ageing population and rising numbers of people living with complex conditions - that require specialist care – such as Dementia, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease. More people are choosing to opt for care at home, our campaign aims to highlight how patient, kind and compassionate individuals can make a real difference working in care at home.

Bluebird Care (Bedford) will be hosting a Recruitment Open Day on Friday 1st June to promote the campaign and to talk about our exciting job opportunities.

Director of Bluebird Care (Bedford), Karen Orbell commented:
“Via the #MakeADifference campaign, we want all individuals to learn more about how rewarding a career in home care can be, the huge difference you can make to the people that you support, and why so many of our Bluebird Care care assistants are #ProudToCareAtHome.
