Pyjamas for PanCan 2020

Pyjamas for PanCan is something we get involved with every year, so we thought we would share some of the photos from this year!

Pyjamas for PanCan is a fun day that helps raise awareness of Pancreatic Cancer and the effects it can have on those diagnosed and their families. We started getting involved with this in 2019 and have since decided to make it a yearly event as our office staff, carers and customers enjoyed it very much.

Pancreatic Cancer is something that could affect any of us throughout our life time. Pancreatic Cancer Action Org suggests that there are 104,000 cases in Europe every year, and there are 10,000 newly diagnosed people with the UK each year alone. That's a lot of people, and realistically it could easily happen to one of us when you consider the figures, which is why it is so important to support charities like this.

Due to Covid - 19, we could not hold a large event in our office this year, but we could get involved and raise awareness regardless. You can see from the images above that we had a lovely day, the second image is the office team and the first image is a photo of our carer Polly with our customer Jamie, who absolutely adores seeing his carers dress up!
