Bluebird Care has launched a national campaign to raise awarenes of the difference care is making to people's lives.

Bluebird Care Bath & North East Somerset Celebrates Home Care with the #MakeADifference Campaign

Bluebird Care Bath & North East Somerset is celebrating its fantastic team of home care assistants, and the difference they make in their local communities every day, as part of a nationwide campaign, which launched on Tuesday 8th May.

The #MakeADifference campaign, spearheaded by Bluebird Care, a national provider of home care in the UK, aims to highlight and raise awareness of domiciliary care as a profession, which enables vulnerable people to receive the care and support they require in the comfort of their own homes. The campaign will also showcase why at Bluebird Care our Care Assistants are #ProudtoCareAtHome.

With the rapidly increasing ageing population and rising numbers of people living with complex conditions - that require specialist care - for example Dementia, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease, and more people choosing to opt for care at home, this campaign aims to highlight how patient, kind and compassionate individuals can make a real difference working in domiciliary care.

Bluebird Care Bath & North East Somerset will be hosting various events throughout May to August to promote the campaign. The Summer Bizarre in August welcomes customers, their families and our care staff and office teams to join us in a memorable day to show our appreciation for all those who have contributed to the success of this expanding Bluebird Care franchise. The office teams have committed to joining The Memory Walk in Bristol on 1st September in support of The Alzheimer’s Society.

David Knapton, Bluebird Care, Bath & North East Somerset’s longest-standing care assistant of over 5 years, has been awarded with the Bluebird 5 Year’s Service badge for recognition of his long service providing care to our customers. Claire Nolan, Care Manager, appreciates not only his loyalty to the Bluebird Care team but the dedication and commitment of all those carers who are part of the Bluebird team.

The valued and hard working team of carers in Bath provide over 3000 hours of care per week supporting people of all ages. Testimonials reflect the passion feel for their job and the company.

I love to help people. Knowing that we are probably the only friendly face they see all day. Making a team that feels like family rather than colleagues is a nice feeling
