Receiving the highly sought after title represents a big milestone for John and Phil’s journey in the social care sector. Originally with a background in the NHS and pharmaceuticals, since establishing the franchise in 2007 John and Phil have developed a successful local business that employs over 100 fantastic team members.

In this time, they have nurtured a positive, hard-working, and caring work culture, whilst building a strong reputation within the local community for delivering top-quality care.

Despite the extraordinary challenges created by the pandemic, John and Phil’s franchise has continued to thrive. An impressive feat, the leading home care provider has continued to deliver exceptional care to their customers time and time again as a result of tremendous dedication and perseverance. Because of this, they have been able to record no positive COVID-19 tests among their customers and no recorded incidences of transmission between Care Assistants and their customers.

Judges at the awards also highlighted Bluebird Care North Hampshire & West Berkshire’s continued growth as a business. With high staff retention, customer satisfaction, community involvement, and inspired leadership throughout, the duo were worthy winners at this year’s Great British Franchise Awards.

Reflecting on their award success, John Prendergast said:
