Here at Bluebird Care and across the UK, the British summertime has been kind to us with warm weather and fine sunshine (for once) throughout the months of July, August and into September.

However, as you can imagine, hot temperatures can be testing within the care industry while allowing patients and carers to enjoy their own pocketful of sunshine.

As we know, keeping people hydrated and cool is of high importance. Thus, we ensured that plenty of water was consumed, but to make sure that all are able to enjoy the summer weather by venturing outside and cooling off in the shade.

Feeling fresh and taking regular water onboard was of paramount importance during warmer climates. We also encourage patients and carers to treat themselves to an ice cream or a cool drink on behalf of Bluebird Care. 

Our care plans are delivered in a sensitive, person-centred way, taking account of circumstances, wishes and priorities of the customer, family and friends. The British weather is no exception when it comes to our unique strategy!

Our attentive care assistants are fully trained and are supported to develop further knowledge and skills. We are with you every step of the way.
