On International Women’s Day, we want to take the time to celebrate every single woman connected to Bluebird Care Ayrshire. Customers, the office team or even our field team, each one is amazing.

But it’s not just about words, it’s about putting it into action and exploring the different ways we can support these women.

Here are just a few things we’ve done to get us started:

💙 We’ve hired Natalie Alexander as a Health and Wellbeing Coach. She is a renowned author and life coach and comes with 2 decades of experience. She will be getting to know everybody in our team and will be pulling together a Wellbeing programme to ensure our team know exactly what is available to them whilst also exploring new initiatives that she thinks the team will find useful.

💙 We’ve taken the Menopause Pledge with the Wellbeing of Women. We know that many of the people in our team are either perimenopause or in menopause and we want to do everything possible to ensure our team feel informed and supported with the changes in their body and mind. We found success in our Menopause talks so we will be incorporating menopause sessions into our Wellbeing Wednesdays on a monthly basis.

💙 We will be hosting regular get together with the team to carry out Wellbeing Wednesday so that we can get to spend more time with one another, along with informing and educating people and giving our team a safe space to talk and mingle.

💙 We will also be looking to carry out more events bringing our customers and team together to combat loneliness and allow people to get to mix with one another. It’s always great when we can put a face to a name and have a relaxed conversation.

💙 We have also launched two apps that are available for our team: Westfield and Wisdom. Both these apps allow our team a platform where they can seek medical professionals with ease, along with finding really useful information about all things Health and Wellbeing.

Whilst Natalie is just getting started, a full plan will be announced soon, and we can’t wait to see what a difference she’ll make to the team. We’re so excited to have somebody on board who can help us celebrate and support every single lady in our team.
